A Classic Story

If I have a good book
and I'm getting bored
I sit in a nook
and survey a  dragon's hoard,
a pirate's hook,
a hero's sword, 
or chase a crook,
but afterward
when I finish the book
I will, once again, be bored.    

Nnyyeeew... Sploosh!

In my dream.
Two teams.
a water balloon fight.
I steal the enemies ammo.

gobble gobble ouch! gobble

Coming back for 
delicious seconds 
of ramen noodle soup.
Ow! My tongue!

Rattle rattle.
Kate, one of our many cats,
is trying to open the screen door.
I walk over and lock it.

Buuuzzzz... My pupils swirl to the the sound's source.
A honey bee is trying to get out the window.

My best friend is coming over today
for the first time ever.
It's going to be awesome!

Building a dam in the creek
with wood and rocks.
My mom hauls over a clump
of sod broken off by the current.
"say, that works great!"
